Continue ShoppingWe use solid 18k gold—never plated—in yellow, white, and rose. We care deeply about the quality and integrity of the metals we choose, ensuring your piece is made to last. While we don’t create jewelry in sterling silver, every piece comes safely nestled in a beautiful sterling silver box, chosen to protect and hold your jewelry with care.
Yes. All of our natural diamonds are certified by GIA (Gemological Institute of America), and our lab-grown diamonds are certified by IGI (International Gemological Institute). When you choose a Sula ring with one of these stones, the certificate that belongs to your diamond will be included with your order.
For pieces that include small accent stones—known as melee (typically under 0.2 carats each)—these stones are not individually certified, whether lab or natural. This is standard practice in fine jewelry, as certifying each tiny stone isn’t feasible. That said, we source high-quality melee and place the same level of care and attention into selecting them as we do our larger stones.
Yes. All of our rings that feature stones are available with either lab-grown or natural diamonds. (For rings without stones, this choice doesn’t apply.) You’ll see both options on each product page, with pricing adjusted accordingly.
Lab-grown diamonds are created in a controlled environment and have the same physical, chemical, and optical properties as natural diamonds, while natural diamonds are formed deep within the earth over millions of years. To the eye, they’re nearly indistinguishable. Both options offer lasting beauty. It simply comes down to what feels right for you.
Our natural diamonds are carefully sourced from trusted partners who prioritize ethical practices and transparency. Each one is certified by GIA (Gemological Institute of America), ensuring quality, authenticity, and traceability.
We adhere to the Kimberley Process, which helps prevent the trade of conflict diamonds and requires that all U.S. diamond imports be conflict-free. Most of the diamonds we supply originate from Angola, Botswana, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Sierra Leone, Zimbabwe, and parts of Canada. If you'd like more information about the specific origin of a stone, feel free to reach out to hello@sulalosangeles.com. We're always happy to share more.
